It's been forever since I updated this blog, but we have been working like crazy since the week before Easter. Patrick was working a ton at the church in preparation for the Good Friday and Easter services, all the while creating a new website for a client. I've been working more that usual, too, creating all sorts of print work for one of my clients.We did take a little break on Easter Sunday, though. Patrick's Mom, Dad, and Grandmother came down for the afternoon. We had a nice brunch (of which Alden wouldn't eat a bite), played with some new toys, and cracked open a few too many candy-filled eggs. We do hope that we were able to teach Alden that Easter is really about celebrating the fact that Jesus rose victoriously from the grave to conquer Satan, sin, and death. I'm sure he'll remember the candy, too.
